Cassie is a self taught digital photographer who grew up in Southern Maryland and moved to the mountain state of West Virginia almost 15 years ago.

Cassie's passion for photography grew out of  long hikes in the woods and enjoying the vast swaths of woodlands surrounding her home.

The sweeping vistas, the vast pallets of spring, the bleakness of winter, the thundering waterfalls and abundence of wildlife encouraging her well composed eye.

Cassie prefers to shoot in black and white, a medium that renders the picture to be simplified to two ellements of art and design, lighting and composition.
