I’m writing to you today with an update about a new opportunity for your film. We have recently partnered with some film professionals in China who are going to assist us in getting our catalog of films into the Chinese market. This is a very rare occurrence as it is near impossible to break films into the Chinese market without backing and support from a Chinese national in the film industry.

We will of course keep you updated every step of the way but just wanted to take the time to notify you of this fantastic opportunity! We just wanted to make you aware that we are now contacting potential buyers in China about your film and in our contract with them it does clearly state that they are not allowed direct contact with the filmmaker, only with us, however some of them may still try to contact you directly. If this does happen and you receive any contact from either festivals or buyers who are based in China please kindly let us know and we will respond to them accordingly with the assistance of our Chinese colleagues. This is only in relation to buyers from China, no other countries.
